Five Star Testimonial Reviews – Introduction to Herbal Medicine Half Day Workshop
What a great way to spend a day of my holiday . Nicole was friendly and so accommadating. We made bespoke ointments and balms combining beeswax, infused oils and essential oils. The finished jars of ointment looked and smelled absolutely wonderful . The jars made super gifts for friends. Thank you Nicole, hope to see you again soon for workshop number two !
This was a lovely morning of discovery. I could not believe that there were so many herbs so close to our holiday home, and Nik took the time to introduce and show over 20 plants, with excellent notes for reference and further reading. I loved the tea tasting, an acquired taste for some of our group, but very interesting to compare tincture and tea for the same herb. The countryside around this area is glorious, and the weather although damp was a relief from the scorching heat the week before.
I can thoroughly recommend this half day introduction and would like to explore the culinary side having really enjoyed the tastings. Who knew how amazing the nettle can be, and so free and abundant! There was loads to see :St John’s wart, Rosehip, hawthorn, red clover and lime flower just for starters. I would be interested to go out in the Spring and Autumn and up on the higher ground for comparison too. All in all a great day.
